The Price of a Dream

There is a price everyone pays to reach their dreams. The price is different for everyone but everyone will pay a price to reach their dreams. If you want to be a successful leader you will have to pay the price. But unfortunately some people are not willing to do that. For some the price tag to reach their dreams is too high. John Maxwell says "That's why dream believers are in abundance. Dream buyers are rare." Are you willing to pay the price to reach your dreams? Here are some areas that leaders will have to pay for,

Pay the price to be consistent and disciplined.
Pay the price to maintain a balanced life.
Pay the price to develop your leadership.
Pay the price to think.
Pay the price to develop others.
Pay the price to maintain a positive attitude.

You first have to pay the price before you can reach your dreams. A leader can never receive their dreams without paying the price. A leader can either pay now and play later or play now and pay later. Either way a leader will have to pay. But if you choose to pay first you will maximize your leadership ability and do even greater things.

Even after you pay the price there is no guarantee you will reach your dreams. But if you don't pay the price you definitely won't reach your dreams. Paying the price to be successful and reach your dreams is worth the risk.

Leaders can choose everyday to pay the price to reach their dreams. Being disciplined everyday will keep you on track and focused on your dreams. Daily focus will also allow you to have a vision of the future. Have a vision that will lead to your dreams being accomplished and choose to pay the price every day. So make the choice to pay the price. Spend some time asking yourself these questions,

Do you have a dream?
Do you know the price it will cost you to reach your dreams?
Are you willing to reach for your dream on a daily basis?
Are you willing to pay the price?
