What are some of your all time favorite books?
It's always difficult for me to decide on my favorite books but to add to your books on leadership: a couple of my favorites in that topic are Spiritual Leadership by J. Oswald Chambers and A Leadership Paradox by Denny Gunderson.
ReplyDeleteProbably one of my all time favorite books would be Mere Christianity by CS Lewis.
Matthew,
ReplyDeleteI'm the same way about finding my favorite books. Spiritual Leadership by J. Oswald Chambers is a great one too. I have not read the other two. Thanks for commenting.
Some of my favorite Leadership books are Spiritual leadership by Blackaby; The Book on Leadership by JMac; Axion by Hybels; and a ton of others. :)
ReplyDeleteBill,
ReplyDeleteI will need to check out the Book on Leadership. Books by Hybels are great. Thank you for sharing.
Sorry Dan. It is Axiom. The Book on Leadership is a good like at the life of Paul and his leadership.
ReplyDeleteBill,
ReplyDeleteI have seen Axiom and plan on reading it soon. Learning more about Paul and his leadership sounds like a good book.
A leadership paradox is a great look at the life of Christ and how He led through servanthood. The paradox is a reference to Christ saying that if you want to be great you have to be a servant. Mere Christianity is CS Lewis' attempt to get past all denominational differences and present the basis of Christianity in a rational way.
ReplyDeleteMatthew,
ReplyDeleteThe leadership paradox sounds like a must read. I have been meaning to read Mere Christianity because I have heard so many good things about it. Thanks for giving a detailed description of these books.
