“A leader needs to know his strengths as a carpenter knows his tools, or as a physician knows the instruments at her disposal. What great leaders have in common is that each truly knows his or her strengths- and can call on the right strengths at the right time. This explains why there is no definitive list of characteristics that describe all leaders.” ~Dr. Donald O. Clifton
To be the best leader you must know your strengths. You must understand your strengths and weaknesses and stay in your passions. The above paragraph should be a reminder to every leader to use their strengths and talents. To better understand my strengths I plan on taking a strength finder survey found in the book “Strength Based Leadership”. I would encourage you to take a strengths finder test as well.
I believe that in order for you to increase productivity, sales, or go to the next level you and your team need to be working in their strengths. After a leader identifies his or her strengths they then must work on finding and grow the strengths of their followers. So find your strengths and talents and help others do the same.
